Personalized Aftercare
Here at Shelbourne and Associates, we have gone a step above normal OMFS practices to offer you your own personal dietician. We are the only OMFS in the country with a registered dietician on staff to serve our patients. Once you have scheduled your All on Four procedure with us, you will be contacted by our registered dietician prior to surgery.
Your personal dietician will then customize your current diet to create a post-op meal plan in order to maximize your quality of life during recovery. The importance of an intentional meal plan during recovery from the All on Four is to reduce post-operative discomfort, simplify oral hygiene, and speed up wound healing.
Rhiannon's degree is in dietetics and nutrition from the university ofAlabama. She completed her internship in dietetics at the Medical University of South Carolina.
Her interests are in motivational interviewing and counseling as well as meal planning with recipe development. She has special expertise in both these areas given she raises 6 children at home!Rhiannon is very familiar with your surgery as well as the nutrition and hydration demands during recovery.
